When we are grieving the loss of our dear pets, we very often become consumed with so much pain and sorrow, that some may feel as though they simply just cannot move on with everyday life. You must allow yourself time to grieve, but there are some things you can do to keep yourself healthy during this sorrowful time.
Eat healthy and make sure you are getting enough nutrition.
Drink plenty of water.
Make sure you exercise. Go for a run or a walk in a park. Walking will help you relax and enjoying nature and all it’s beauty will take your mind off of your sorrow.
Try to plan at least one activity or outing each day, even if that just means shopping at the grocery store or having lunch with a good friend.
Surround yourself with supportive people who understand the pain you are suffering with.
Treat yourself! Splurge on some thing small that makes you happy, but nothing that you may regret later.
